I would love to hear from all of you, if you find any price variations, or super prices at your local Aldi stores. It will be very helpful, if you will leave your state/area in your comment, so that other readers in your area will know what great Aldi deals to look for.
here in the dallas, tx area our white bread has been $0.69, and hamburger and hotdog bums both $0.75. Our apples have been on sale for $1.49, but go up to $2.69 regular price. Avocados have been $0.49. Gallon milk has been $0.99 for a while now, and $0.49 for a dozen eggs. I'm very curious what these two things cost elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteAmanda, when was the last time you saw these prices? (trying to figure out whether to include them in this week's price variations list).
ReplyDeleteYour prices are fantastic, and it is really interesting to see how the prices vary from region to region. The prices in South Florida are usually higher than in the rest of the country, and that goes for other stores such as Publix as well.
$0.49 for a dozen of eggs! WOW!
The milk has been that price for months, the eggs too. The most recent ad actually had the eggs priced higher on the paper (.69 or .79, i think) but I haven't been to my store since to check. In the past they were more on paper, but less in the store. I will let you know. My family from Louisiana brings ice chests over here when they visit because their eggs are nearly $2 and milk nearly $4 so they bring some back home with them.
ReplyDeleteThanks Amanda, I really appreciate the update. It has been a BIG change to get Aldi to S. Fl, because our egg and milk prices can get very high too. No wonder your family stocks up,when they come to visit.
ReplyDeleteI didn't get to post it this week, but:
ReplyDeletecelery $0.69 each
Russet potatoes $1.49 for a 10 lb bag
Yellow Onions $0.99 for a 3 lb bag ($0.33/lb)
California Navel oranges $1.39 for a 4 lb bag ($0.35/lb.)
eggs are advertised $0.69, and the hamburger and hot dog buns are advertised $0.69 too actually. I missed that one. I will let you know the new stuff on Wednesday.
Thanks Amanda, I just added your prices to the variations chart.
ReplyDeleteGreat. =) This is such a nice thing. I just suggested your page to my facebook followers.
