I am an Aldi's produce shopper...but I am sooooo excited to find your blog (by way of Simply CVS) that I may increase my Aldi's shopping and save more $$$$!

I'm in Upstate New York. Aldi now carries their generic for Kashi Go Lean Crunch, and regular Kashi Go Lean. I bought a case, paying approximately $2.00 a box for it, at least a $1.00 per box savings over the brand name. It's high in fiber (9 grams I think), and sweet enough the children devour it, and has a good serving of protein which is good for my husband to eat too.
ReplyDeleteOur Aldi has a good price on Soy milk, since we're lactose tolerant - and obviously like cold cereal.
KellieSue, that's exciting about the Kashi Go Lean, because coupons are rare to come by on the Kashi cereal. It's great to know that there is a more affordable great tasting alternative.
ReplyDeleteI have not found soymilk at our local South Florida Aldi, I'll have to take a second look though, because in my family four out of five are lactose intolerant as well.
I assume the rice is for white?
ReplyDeleteI buy almost all of my produce from Aldi. Most of the time, it looks great. On days when it looks sad, I go to a neighboring town and buy from a small produce stand.
ReplyDeleteYes, April the rice is white. I am actually working on a healthy produce at Aldi list.
ReplyDeleteJoy I have yet to come across sad produce at Aldi, and I am keeping my fingers crossed that I never will. I have the feeling that it depends a bit on the store managers in charge.
