Your husband is going to get used to Salmon once a week :-).
ReplyDeleteThat's a good deal. Now I'm craving a tuna sandwich. Thanks for the deals ....Tiffypoot @ (aol.com)
ReplyDeleteIf you haven't tried it, the Priano tortellini is excellent! Rivals any more expensive brand anywhere. Usually around $1.50 a package when you can find it. I cook it and split it into 6 containers (6 servings per pk) and it's only 2 pts on weight watchers that way. Then I freeze the pkgs just like that. When I get one out for lunch, I throw in a little tomato sauce (0 pts), some Italian spices (basil, oregano, whatever I have...) and I throw in some chopped up green pepper, tomatoe, colored peppers, fresh mushrooms, whatever I have again, and a little mozz or parm cheese on top (1 pt worth). By the time lunch rolls around, it's defrosted and a minute or so in the microwave and you have an Italian feast! Everyone I work with always comments on how good it smells. A great low-point lunch that's easy to make and uses up what's in the fridge.
ReplyDeleteMary, I'll definitely have to try those. Right now my fridge is filled up to maximum capacity though, thanks to the free frozen food deal at Target. I got 20 weight watchers Smart Ones at $0.40 each.
