New Grocery Price Comparison List Between Aldi, Target, Publix and Walmart

This week I actually held off buying both lettuce and cucumbers at Aldi. My South Florida Aldi Store has increased the price on lettuce from $1.29 to $1.59, and Publix still have lettuce at $1.49. Aldi had also raised the price of cucumbers to from $0.59 to $0.89, and Publix still have cucumbers for $0.75 each. I had a $1 off produce coupon, so I saved it for the cucumbers, and got two cucumbers for $0.49 at Publix. I was expecting the cucumber price hike though, as even our local Subway stores have signs up about a cucumber shortage and limiting the cucumbers on the sandwiches.

Now, if you are looking for great tasting, cheap strawberries, Aldi has them this week! I ended up buying three packs of Aldi strawberries, and they still taste better than anywhere else I have bought strawberries this strawberry season.

The grocery price comparison list is created based on South Florida prices, and you might find regional price differences. South Florida prices are usually a bit higher than in the rest of the country, so you will likely find better prices at your local store. I do my best to keep up with the price changes, but if I miss something please feel free to let me know. Aldi price changes are ongoing, but most change on Sundays and Wednesdays. Target and Walmart prices change on Sundays and Publix prices change on Thursdays....I try my best to keep the price list updated throughout the week.
